Calibration Standard
Calibration Standard for the analysis of VMA, HVA, 5-HIAA in urine, primary standard solution, lyophilised
This aqueous calibration standard from Chromsystems is injected directly into the HPLC system without sample preparation. While following the instructions the calibrator should be measured in the same manner as a patient specimen.
This aqueous calibrator is manufactured without using any human matrices.
An alternative is the lyophilised calibrator (order no. 1009), which is based on human urine and should be used according to the instruction manual.

Concentrations | Please note: All concentrations shown here are exemplatory. They do not reflect real data for the described products. Actual concentrations depend on the production lot of each product and can exclusively be found in the product information leaflet. Please ask for these product information leaflets or download them from the service site of the Chromsystems website.

Storage conditions | Stored at +2 to +8 °C unopened calibration standards are stable until the expiry date which is stated on the vial labels. The reconstituted calibration standard should be stored tightly capped at +2 to +8 °C. The calibrator reconstituted with HCl should be prepared freshly each day because 5-HIAA is unstable at low pH value. Alternatively, the calibrator can be reconstituted with Elution Buffer (+ Finisher). Then the calibrator can be stored up to 5 days at +2 to +8 °C. For specific information about the detailed procedure and stability please refer to the instruction manual. |
